Nightmen

Cheap beer and endless movie-nights helped Nightmen create their debut LP ”Fifteen Minutes of Pain”, a 28-minute primitive rock’n’roll-album filled with power-pop hooks and ingenious songwriting. The three vocalists sing with equal measures of punk snottiness and sugary sweetness. The diversity of having three singers makes “Fifteen Minutes of Pain” a dynamic garage-rock anthem. Nightmen are Ramones tangled up with Dead Moon and The Cars. ”Fifteen Minutes of Pain”, a twelve track killer-LP straight from the heart to be released the 15th of April on Lövely Records.

Christine, Tony, Nopan and Erik have spent time in notorious swedish acts such as MF/MB/, Terrible Feelings, and Yast, although Nightmen is something completely different from those bands. Nightmen’s debut EP ”Girl For You” was lovingly described as being ”somewhere in the no-mans land between hard and soft, between sweet powerpop and rock’n’roll. The music is recorded in 2015 but the sound is warm and comforting, like a couch covered in velvet. It reminds you of how things used to be in the good ol’ days.”

Drivin Rain´s debut EP offers 6 songs that combine the sounds of the two golden decades of rock music.

Driving Rain is influenced by classic bands such as Hüsker Dü, The Replacements, Radio Birdman and The Hellacopters and the band recorded their EP in their hometown Stockholm. Hunt

Branches is the majestic, yet intimate second full length album from Swedish indie band Hunt. Always embodying the deepest emotions, Hunt’s guitar driven pop leaves the listener swaying between feelings of complete forsakenness and distant hope. If the bands debut album Dark Come Sooner (Kning Disk) was the musical equivalent of being lost in a rural snow ridden landscape, with lead vocalist Susanna Brandin’s voice as the sole beacon of light in the far distance, Branches is the more urban after math. The sense of being forsaken still remains, but on Branches it’s rather an eternal time lapse of cold rain drizzling against a backdrop of street lights that obstacles the journey towards that remote salvation.

Hunt is the collective creative output of Susanna Brandin, Johanna Hellqvist, Hillevi Duus and Jakob Enlund. After a succesful Asian tour following 2013’s full length debut Dark Come Sooner, the band now returns with 8 new tracks on new album Branches. The album was produced and recorded by Hunt, while Christian Gabel took on mixing duties in Studio Cobra, and it will be released by Lövely Records 8th of April 2016.

With sharp melodies, pounding drums, guitars and bass blasting from the tube amps and most important of all, tons of heart. A hard working band with lots of hours on the road and almost a year working on this new album. The album blends punk and folk rock together to straight forward and honest melodic rock. The Dahmers drar knivTake the primitive energy of punk and mix it with Thin Lizzy guitars that strike like lightning. Add melodies that will stay in your head like a leech to your eye and lyrics that would make Dario Argento and George Romeros work sound like bedtime stories. Now your starting to understand what The Dahmers are all about, an ambitious band that’s not afraid to throw all of their influences into the mix. Their début album, Demons, was released in July 2014 on the record label Farsot and is today as good as sold out. It was received well by the audience as well as by music journalists and The Dahmers have been hitting the Swedish roads hard since the release.

Today, almost a year later, it is time for a new 7” release – ”Terror on wheels”. The songs were recorded during a couple of weeks in a dirty garage where every previous release was made as well. The foundation of the songs was recorded live and according to the band itself the songs has a more messy, garage-y live feeling to them compared to previous releases. The members of the band contributed with one song each, which added to the feeling that every song has its own sound or nature. This of course without losing the cohesive feeling that it’s one EP. With the dirty sound and sharp melodies that is The Dahmers, ”Terror on wheels” invites you to a rock n roll rollercoaster where you will hear influences from bands like The Hives, Jay Reatard and The Ramones as well as MC5, Motörhead, Thin Lizzy and Status Quo. ”Terror on wheels” is released by Lövely records who are also re-releasing ”Demons”.

The guys in Rotten Minds hanging out.Rotten Mind released their debut album ”Im Alone Even With You” the 25th of September. In true punk spirit Rotten Mind played their first show in february 2015, recorded a demo in march and returned to the studio in april to record their debut album in just two days time. It’s no shocker that the band who is named after a Jay Reatard song got an American styled garage rock vibe. The 12 tracks album is held together with attitude, punk rock and melodies that combines everything into an explosive garage rock sound.

Rotten Mind is a typical punk band, restless youth with a background in the hardcore punk band Agent Attitude. The band is on an everlasting search away from their everyday boredom, continue living fast and in chaos to keep those voices out of the head. ”Im Alone Even With You” was written under a short period of time that gives the album a special and concentrated feeling. The album is recorded by Swedish hardcore legend Mattias Kennhed (No Security, Meanwhile and Dischange) who has given the band a raw production were the frustration can be heard through the maxed out amps.
